Dharatal Foundation exists so that neither has to be permanent — and neither has to cost what it usually does.
In Baghpat, a single physiotherapy session at a private clinic can cost more than a full day's wage. So people simply stop going. They stop asking. We built two rooms and one rule — that nobody connected to them ever profits from another person's suffering. That rule is the only thing here that has never changed, and it never will.
Dharatal Foundation is a registered charitable trust working across two kinds of care that are too often treated as optional — physiotherapy and eye care. We aren't trying to replace hospitals or specialist treatment. We exist for the gap in between: the ordinary back pain, the fading eyesight, the kind of care people quietly go without because a private clinic felt out of reach, physically or financially.

Dharatal Foundation is led by trustees Ashok Kumar Jain and Rani Jain, who oversee both centres without drawing any salary or income from the trust. Their involvement is quiet and constant — making sure the centres keep running the way they were meant to, for the people who need them, not for revenue.
